Ganesha - Hindu Elephant God of Prosperity
The son of Shiva and Durga, Ganesha is beloved by all. He is thoughtful and wise and worshiped before every undertaking, especially literary or educational, in order to ensure success. He is also known as the Gold of prosperity and God of the household. This sandcast reconstituted lava rock Ganesha was made to be affixed to a wall or in a niche. With its flat back, it can also be used as a bookend.
