Ganesha - Hindu Elephant God of Prosperity
The son of Shiva and Durga, Ganesha is beloved by all. He is thoughtful and wise and worshiped before every undertaking, especially literary or educational, in order to ensure success. He is also known as the God of prosperity and God of the household. In India, Ganesha is usually depicted with a broken tusk, but in Bali, the tusks are usually whole.
