Scorched Tamarind Mahogany Console Table

Using the remaining byproduct of Tamarind wood, also commonly known as Madeira Mahogany, which is sliced for veneering, the remaining chopping block cuts of the tree and trunk end caps are utilized to form this eclectic console table.

The wood remains in its natural form and color, the edges are delicately scorched, then a light low gloss lacquer is applied to preserve and accent the design. Each table is a unique piece given that the wood used is preserved in its natural form.

The Tamarind blocks are mounted atop an antiqued pewter finished metal base with stretcher supports.
